There are hundreds of threads on memory issues in OS6. Did you shrink the OS before install? What apps do you have running? Have you done a battery pull? What is your memory at just after a battery pull?

I did not shrink the OS. Maybe I should do that. After a battery pull it is at 16% with 39.8MB free...
I guess I will shrink it, if that makes any difference?

It makes a huge difference as you can see my before and after of shrinking the OS. (From 144mb to 48mb)

Andy, I've always wondered, what happens if you shrink out the fonts? Is there any adverse affect in screens, menus, etc?

No those are additional fonts. You cannot delete the default fonts, like the default theme cannot be deleted. You can keep them but it adds about 5mb if I remember.

Andy, that's great, thanks. Also, what happens if you delete the AT&T themes, for example -- would you have to ensure you had another custom theme installed?

I do not know if att puts a custom theme on their phones but deleting all of those will still keep the RIM default OS6 theme which should never be deleted.
