Default Annoying permissions problem on OS6 9700

Hey guys,
I have a 9700 with a hybrid (osbb) on .706
For some reason every time I start an app I have to grant it permissions again. This is really annoying.
Like with "Weather Channel", I start it up, grant permissions then can use it, then if I exit it or do a battery pull whenever I start it again I have to grant the same permissions. There is no option to "remember" my choice and this has the same problem on every base os and every hybrid I've tried. Also, when I try to run BBprotect it says It cannot be used on a BES phone when I am definatly on BIS
Thanks

It sounds as if a few things was left out of your .706 version.

Is it a previously-owned phone that could have been on BES and have an IT policy? Sure sounds like it - I'm just recovering from an inadvertent BES policy push that removed the "Allow" choice from most of the app permissions.

Take a look to see if your "Allow" permissions exist - Options > Device > Application Management > Select an app > MenuKey > Edit Permissions > Select a permission group > MenuKey > Expand (if necessary) > Check child permissions to see if "Allow" is a choice.

I'm guessing it won't be, and that explains why saving the permissions on app startup isn't "sticky." That sounds like an IT policy, or maybe a corrupted OS.

Yeah the "Allow" is there but it does not allow me to select it.
Tried this, How to remove an obsolete IT policy from a BlackBerry smartphone that was activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server «Inside BlackBerry Help Blog
waiting for it to reset to see if it worked.
