Hi, I just got a z10, switched from q10. To restore my data to a new device I had to update the os to 10.2.1.3062. That one I got through but now I have a charging problems. At first it wasn't charging, tried the battery bull with the charger connected, it goes to 100% charged and it doesn't discharge.
please help with the solutions.

There are many thread regarding z10 charging battery issue. But you can try to solve it now.
Remove battery, sim card and sd card. Wait for 1-2 hours then put sim card, sd card and sim. Let me know if it solve ur problm.

Am trying that one now. Its been an hour now since i removed the battery, sim card and Sd card.

i think it woked, the battery is now 67%. when i switched it on it was 68%. let me watch it for sometime and see if it will discharge and recharge properly later.

Wait for battery to drain and switch off your phone automatically . Then again remove battery sim and sd card and do same thing. It will fix the problem .

Yes, better to disassemble the whole phone and wait a month. It may fix the battery and may even turn Z10 into a Passport, who knows...

Just the sentence "...will keep your battery in good standing" shows that the OP has no clue what he's talking about. On STL100-1 models the battery itself isn't the problem, the way phone determines battery charge level is. There are many different "methods" posted everywhere, but none of them really fixes the issue permanently.

Yes not permanently or even cant fix but why hesitate to give it a try..what if it works. Cause he dont have other things to solve this. Only to buy a new battery..

O was suffering from same Problem but some one here suggest me to do same thing and it works for me. It doesnt mean it works for all others but we should first give it a try then make comments.

Already I had connected on charge on pc for 30mins, charge to full, now am trying to use it till drain. Battery meter shows 100% up to now, don't show percentage going down. Is that supposed to be happening?
