At least once a day my contacts disappear (message: Start adding contacts to your contact list), the emails too (message : Could not display this message). I resort to rebooting the phone but a better solution has to be found soon.

That hasn't been happening to me. Perhaps an app is causing this?

Since installing the new OS the problem has not appeared

Mmm this always happens right after a reboot for me. It takes a bit for all contacts, music, videos etc to show up.
