Hi all! I was wondering I noticed that my gmail acct has push while my yahoo acct seems to pull every 5 min. And idea why it's not push just like gmail? I have noticed that on my iPad yahoo is push. So why isn't it on bbry? I understand it's not BIS. But apple isn't either and they support yahoo push. So was just wondering if anyone has any info on this.

I don't think that they do on apple either.
My yahoo account is really slow no matter where I use it.
On BIS it was the fastest.
I'm probably going to change just because I'm sick of the yahoo bs

I agree. I hate yahoo. That's where I get my junk(meaning from store and companies) but I need them too. Don't know how I can change them all. And they charge if I want to forward. Stupid yahoo!

I have used yahoo in my whole Internet life. I have supported Yahoo by using everything it offers including search. However I have to say I am Disappointed with its email. Yahoo mail should support push since it's competitors like Gmail and Hotmail do.

Same here buddy. I hate Google. Use Yahoo instead. But their email is just horrible.

It used to be Yahoo mail was great, it could do big attachments when everyone else couldn't, it did lightning fast "push" to BBOS. Now my Yahoo account fails 25% of the time (on my BBOS 9650), no push to BB10, you need a paid account to forward. I can't wait to get my Q10 so I can use my Hotmail/Outlook folders and dump Yahoo, goodby Marissa!

If you Google it...

I read it as yahoo has special push support for iOS devices yes. BlackBerry 10 is treated the same as android. Uses IMAP. But without IMAP push support.

My freaking PlayBook gets yahoo instantly but on my Z10 it's pretty much just when it checks. I'm sorry but something is f***** up. How is that the case especially when PlayBook didn't even have email to begin with, you know a big reason it flopped

Another win for iOS. My Yahoo! is super fast on my iPad, slow on my BlackBerry.

No BIS on Playbook. Playbook uses the same setup as BB10. In my case, only reason email arrives quicker on my Playbook vs my Z10 is because I have the sync interval set lower on the Playbook. Yahoo email on my wife's IPhone arrives almost instantly, but as noted above, Yahoo seems to have a special setup for iOS devices.

Oh it is instant on my PlayBook right in line and sometimes faster than my 9900 was but hardly ever slower. It's faster than my iPhone 5

No never got that. Delivery time is what ticks me off. I do have to input my password a lot on the PlayBook and the voice mail password on the Z

I have gotten that message once. But put in the password again and it works. But still not with instant push.
