I need help. I can't set up my yahoo mail in my Q10. Is there any problem with setting up the mail? Because I have set up my Gmail, and there's no problem with it.

Sometimes Yahoo requires a computer login first. Try logging in the same account on a computer. Wait a few minutes. Often the account will work fine then.

I have done this,i even change my password on a computer and soon after that,i tried to set the mail on this phone,but still it seems to have some problems but I couldn't figure out what it is.

Same problem here last time I did an OS upgrade. After entering the password several times over two days the message disappeared. Makes no sense but at least the system works for me now.

Accounts > Add acct > advance > Yahoo!

1. Server Address* is "rim.imap.mail.yahoo.com"

2. Port*

3. Encryption

4. SMTP Server Address* is "rim.smtp.mail.yahoo.com"

5. SMTP Port*

6. SMTP Encryption

I had to login to my yahoo on a pc then set the option POP forward and then I just put in email and password on my device and blam good to go it gets the server info automatically

@francisca_ja, it's not your BlackBerry, it's the setting on your email like mentioned bellow by Kman13.
