    Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in the forums by searching.

    The Foursquare app for BB is NFC enabled, and it's easy to check in by scanning a tag, like

    There are lots of guides for Android that show how to write an NFC tag (like this one) but I'm not seeing any that outline the process for BB10.

    Is it possible with the Smart Tags application, or a third-party app?

    Smart tags is of limited use i found.

    I use myprofilespro and tags from tagstand.

    Thanks, but it looks (unless I'm mistaken) like that app can only write tags that work solely with that app and nothing else.

    I'm looking for a way to program a tag to use with the Foursquare app so people can check into a foursquare venue. Like in the video posted.

    Not really - I want to be able to write tags that people without a proprietary app (or even people on Android) can use to check into a Foursquare venue - I won't be checking in myself using the tags.

    I think the way with the Smart Tags app is to use 'Other' to write a Foursquare URI to the tag in the following format:

    foursquare://venues/4abe4502f964a520558c20e3
