Yes.. Absolutely as long as the Device is as good as Z30 or even better..

Eh, probably. The only Android app that's somewhat close to a necessity is Telus's My Account app, although that's both in BlackBerry World and their fault for not making a Cascades app.

I think it greatly enhances it, but for me, not a deal breaker. It is great that I can use these apps, but my dislike for the other OS's trumps my use of certain apps. I don't think they are bad or junk, just not for me.

Most likely for work, but I would have to carry two phones then. I use Android apps for Yahoo Fantasy Football, Watch ESPN, Google Maps and Fly Delta

Not a big deal for me. Always good to have options but if Android apps that are missing in BB World were so important to me I would just get an Android. I waited months for my banking app and used the mobile version as a stop gap in the mean time. I'm happy with my BlackBerry.

Absolutely. Even I use less native third party BlackBerry apps as I see my Z10 with BlackBerry 10 as mobile, portable, productive device. Just it.

Definitely. I am using BlackBerry since the launch of Bold 9700 and shifted to Bold 9900 upon its launching. Now I am using Q10 and certainly would go to Q20 as soon as it is launched. The applications through BlackBerry World are the best of Android applications.

I was wondering this... had BB10 not been able to support Android apps would you still use them?

Sadly, this is a deal-breaker for me. I use a Q10 so gaming isn't a deal to me but the basic Banking, Social and Shopping apps are a part of my everyday life. I gave up my 9900 because, while I was in love with the software and hardware, it no longer was for me as I needed my phone to just do more. I then moved to the iPhone but got bored soooo quickly lol.

My Q10 is the perfect marriage between the two now so I am happy BlackBerry saw this is a must.
yes..........I have a blackberry because it is a blackberry not because it can run droid apps ,I use a blackberry as I think it is a great work horse and not a toy like droid phones .

Probably yes, I didn't even know that BB10 could run apks when I bought my Q10. But (and that is a big one) if they didn't, I may have reconsidered my decision by now. I need several navigation apps for my local public transportation system quite regularly and those are only available for iOS and Android. I'd love to get rid of them and use native ones instead though. Unfortunately, BBW lacks support by many institutions and companies, especially here in Germany. It's a pity because I like this phone more than any mobile I had before.

As a die-hard Mac user my natural habitat would have been the iPhone and, well, it is a sexy device (even the 5C). The integration into the desktop is unsurpassed and quite hasslefree. On the downside, it lacks a keyboard, a removable battery, the Hub which I absolutely love by now and the pricing for more memory traditionally is absolutely insane. And concerning the other dark side (read: Android): Getting an update for the OS is like playing Bingo.

So, if I feel that there is no more promising development at BBRY in let's say 3 years, I'll be gone. For the time being, I want to believe in this company. The old Apple slogan appeals to me: "Think different."

I also have a Q10, but I did start with the Z10. I can honestly say I could care less if BB10 has android apps or not.

Of course I would. I bought my phone before Android was an option, and I never once wished I'd gotten an Android. Nothing has changed there.

Yes. I use my Z10 for the options and features it gives me. There's not much out there I'm missing.

If I wanted to use non blackberry apps I would get a phone that wasn't a BlackBerry!
