    I would like to be able to invoke or call the phone app in any screen rather than minimizing my apps just so I can call someone or check call logs.

    This "Gesture" could replace the physical phone button which was ever present in legacy devices but no longer on bb10 phones.

    Plus with my other thread about swiping up to left for switching to the next active frame.

    Both these gestures could add to the phone's already efficient UI.

    Wish BlackBerry would implement this.

    Not really necessary


    All that is required now is one simplistic swipe upward followed by touching the phone icon. Some things really don't need to be simplified any further....

    Too many very specific and deliberate gestures? May work for you but not for 99% of the remaining users

    You didn't specify a gesture....... but a customizable middle hard key would be nice. push and hold to activate your app of choice, not just the voice commands.

    While i agree that there are too many gestures, we don't have data to back up your claim about the 99% not good with it also.

    And if you've come from a legacy device, you should know that having the hardware key button for the call is really helpful and is an essential part of those who use their phones for calls (which is everyone)

    But i also agree with the other one who replied to this thread that it's not necessary. BUT is a good addition to the OS
