Well, after being forced to turn in my workhorse 9700 for a iPhone 4S(and warned against any "accidental" mishaps to the phone, depends on the specs. But, I can always find someone that wants to sell a fairly new BlackBerry for something that will be released the next month.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't bb10 BlackBerry phones currently planned to be touchscreen only? If this is the case I'll wait. I love my physical keypad for my phone. Besides combined with the playbook I'm probably not missing much.

Smart move for RIM would to get the carriers to wave the 2 yrs for an existing BB customer...then I would get one, but alas I got a 9930 at release.

That would be a great move for RIM! I bet the BlackBerry sales then would double or triple! I have two and a half/one and a half years to go before I can upgrade; but I'm not in a rush.

I won't be rushing right away to get one. Ill be enjoying my 9930 and waiting for the app world to gain a little traction before I jump on board.

Yea that would be awesome if carriers and RIM had some type of deal to upgrade your existing phone to a newer BB10 device. BB has to make some good killer moves and go balls out but smartly for BB10. I'm excited.

Well ATM I'm stuck with what ever phone work decides to give me, but if its another cr*p Windows phone I'll probably buy one and get a duel sim adaptor so it can double as both a work phone and a personal one, but I'll see how the cash situation is. Was planning on getting a new 3G 32GB PB on release and giving my current 16MB one to my son anyway.

RIM will be putting everything into this and I would love to be an early adopter of something revolutionary... if it turns out to be that.

Perhaps I will hound Rogers right away when Blackberry 10 drops. You can usually pressure the carriers (at least Rogers) into getting your way. LoL

My original plan was to use my 9700 until BB10 drops. That changed when I upgraded in February to my 9900. Right now, I'm in the wait and see mode. I want to see exactly what features the new OS and the new phone offer. Since BB10 will be available for the PB, I can afford to take my time.

I'm eager to get a bb10 but may hold out for the Blade depending on if or not the first bb10 phone is as sexy.

Nope. I got my 9860 not too long ago and I intend to run it for about 18 months till the end of my Bell contract. I also plan on buying my next phone outright. No more contracts.

Waiting on the keyboard bb10 bold to come out. I wish I was one of those guys who could use a phone for 2 yrs or longer. Generally get upgrade itch around a year and unable to say no. Hoping it will be out by Xmas and it finds it's way under my Xmas tree

I have 2 upgrades available on my family plan, but gonna hold out and see when a boldish type BB10 phone comes out. I really do miss my physical keyboard.

Just gonna have to get used to a smaller screen again.

Also want to test them out and see how bug ridden they are. Hopefully it isn't a storm situation.

Regardless, I am 90% content where I am at.
