    I got the prompt to update the OS, however my concern is, I never did the facebook update, so it still works.

    If I update the OS, will the facebook update happen as well?

    I really don't want the facebook update, because that will just make facebook stop working.

    Thoughts?

    Facebook messenger won't work anymore on ANY BB10 OS - not just 10.3.3.

    its been working just fine integrating into the hub, DESPITE them saying it wouldn't. All I did was never updated.

    So I would like to keep pushing it as long as I can and calling their bluff.

    SO MY QUESTION.... if I update the OS, will automatically update facebook?

    Facebook, but not Messenger.

    But yes, if you update, Facebook app will be replaced with Web link.

    no way to update just the OS without it updating the separate apps?

    That makes no sense because the apps you have on your phone are independent of the OS.

    You can remove it from a non-destructive update, but I've heard from others that the 10.3.2 version does not play nice with 10.3.3.

    I've updated to the Web Link version.

    As long as you never open it, the FB account will stay, sync'ing at least your contacts and calendar.
    To actually browse facebook/use messenger you'd have to use a different app, the Hub entry disappears.

    Did you have a life before FB? If so, reboot yourself and enjoy life again.

    actually I just realized that as off today facebook messenger and all hub integration has stopped working.

    So I guess updating OS isn't an issue anymore, since facebook finished tanking.
