I really hope with 10.2, BlackBerry gives us the option of choosing whether the phone should or should not disable the wifi network after a certain number of tries..i understand this is to save battery but the option should be given to the user. I am saying so because i consumed a substantial amount of my limited data package because i thought i was on wifi without realising that it was disabled.

Found exactly the same thing lately with my home network. Pretty sure it never happened before. Now, I'm disabling my provider's data when I get home to guard against using it by mistake.

there is no option to do so on 10.2. however I've found wi-fi connection has improved. My hope was that when connected to home network, my data services through my carrier would automatically be disabled. But it's still manual.

I use both Bebuzz and Hub++.
Each have an led ,your choice of color, notification to alert you of no wifi, if you choose .

This might be a stupid question but does anyone know how to re-enable a wifi network once it's been disabled? I've noticed my home network was disabled. Once I click on the network I get the message to change the security setting but it never let's me do so.

EDIT: I'm an *****. Didn't think about restarting my phone. Now I can access security settings for the network.

If you click on the first button to the right of the Back button, it takes you to your saved networks list. From there, long-hold on the disabled profile and hit the edit option.
