The more I look at the BlackBerry 10 OS as a whole, the more I look at general consistency, and in some cases inconsistencies. One thing I've noticed and often wondered is why there are two different style toasts. For example when setting up an email a white toast with a blue header appears. But when adjusting volume a black toast appears...



I for one really like the look of the black toasts. I think they are very clean and sleek, albeit I wish they were far more transparent. But I would like to see all the toasts done in one style or the other. To me it seems inconsistent to have the two styles. Any thoughts?

Have you been following any of the threads on 10.2 leaks?
There are increased uses of toasts already on the way.

The current (original) volume toast really annoys me. It's far too opaque, especially considering it is smack-dab in the middle of the screen, and then it stays there for too long, imo.

Even worse when you have music/media playing and it takes up even more space. Makes the phone unusable until it disappears.
