So I just went to watch a video on YouTube and my media volume was at zero. Everything works fine I just had to turn it up but what I was wondering was why all of a sudden does my media volume always start at zero instead of full which is where I always leave it. P.S. I have not plugged headphones into it. Thanks

Happens to me too on my Q10 running 10.3.1.1154. I can't figure out what makes it drop down to zero. All I know is that it's great for meetings when u need the volume adjustable from low.

But the downside is that when I set my alarms for the morning, I have make sure the volume is all the way up cuz I don't wanna take any chances.

I haven't had it plugged into anything just Bluetooth phone on my truck. But it just started doing it and I've been using Bluetooth with 10.3 for a couple months now

I am wondering if the following will work?
Go into main volume under settings and set the option for "Always adjust media volume" to on. Then do a double check and go to notifications under settings and make sure the active profile sound is not too low.
Now both the media and phone volume should work in the same way.
Not sure this is exactly what you are looking for, but another crackberry member had suggested it before when I was having volume issues and all seems to be good now. Since then I have moved up to 10.3.1.2582
(and still working fine).

My handset speaker (not loudspeaker take note) all of a sudden stopped working. I've restarted ma phone several time already but still not working. I'm ruling out hardware issues cos ma phone hardly ever falls
