Does anyone know if having the leaked version will create a problem later when AT&T does push the update? Ever since installing the leak, whenever I try to check for the update it tells me "Device can only check for updates once every 24 hours" instead of the usual message telling me I have the latest software, or whatever it used to tell me.

It hasn't caused problems for others. Usually, they just got the carrier pushed apps and the radio file back to the 1899 version that comes with 1925 if they updated it with the 1926 radio.

It's why many who ran the leak got updates that were really small - consisting of only a few files - instead of the full 1Gb (or close to it) download.

About that 24 hour message, that was new with 10.2.1. I got it in the earlier 1055 build too. I think that BlackBerry is trying to keep people from pinging the servers constantly. I notice that when you first check, and it actually has been more than 24 hours, that message stills pops up, but the button to check for updates stays active. Hit it again, and it will check, tell you that you have the latest update as before, then the the button grays out.

I had 10.2.1.1259 on my Z10, and I was able to get 10.2.1.1925 pushed to my phone. I too had the option to only check for updates every 24 hours. The only gray area is that my Z10 is unlocked, but with an AT&T SIM card.

AT&T has it sitting in a back room with the original Curve. At least that's my assumption.

US carrier situation is a probable cause of industrial sabotage. True its BBRY that made a bad contractual obligation regarding OS update deadlines and carrier's choice which update they get to pick and distribute (skipping 10.2) but someone is abusing this real good! It just doesn't make any sense that BBRY is neglecting US market which is still their top2 market in the whole world.

I wonder if BlackBerry worries about keeping the last few BlackBerry faithful it has in the U.S? It seems like they don't care. They have sent update for 10.2.1 BBM they manage to get BBM cross platforms but they cannot assist or make it so that those in the U.S market can get software updates? I like BlackBerry products and have been very patient but the reality is no one in the U.S market should have to go through this. Maybe, someone should start a thread Does BlackBerry still care about U.S market?

my theory is that AT&T is pushing all android 4.4 KitKat to all their Android phones before BB as Android makes up most of their lineup. Once KitKat are fully rolled out, then we would see 10.2.1

Help !
did the Sachesi download of the Rogers (CA) files, 10.2.1.2102. Could not directly install via Sachesi then into the Q10 (ATT - locked).
Did side-load the bar files via Chrome browser. After successful transfer of files, phone did not come back alive. Stays @ 100% screen.
Phone gets very hot.
What to do .....
Wait for ATT&T I guess ....
