    The one from the Appstore isn't working, I can't download from Google Play Store (for some reason it thinks that I still have an Android phone and I can't change that). I deactivated the account, deleted Viber, rebooted the phone, it's completely viber-free now.

    only way to get it is through the play store. SO use Cobalt's method and install the Play Store and then download it. Have you tried this method?

    Installed this version in BlackBerry Passport and is working fine com.viber.voip-5.0.0.4090-APK4Fun.com

    I just installed 5.6.5.1885 from the Viber website to both my Passport SE and my P9983. Any later versions will not work.
    If you have an all touch BB10 just get it from BlackBerry world.
