It is possible an update of bb10 in a way that supports whatsapp?

That would require a lot of development in a lot of areas: the BB10 OS itself, the version of QT, the APIs, the development platforms, updates to BB World, etc. That much development would cost hundreds of millions of dollars - plus BB would have to hire a whole team to do all that work, because they let the BB10 development team go about 2.5 years ago when they ended development of BB10.

So, it doesn't matter if it's possible - it isn't even close to being financially feasible or responsible. BB10 is dead, or at least, near death. Its development ended 2.5 years ago, and isn't ever going to be restarted. As time goes on, it's going to lose more and more app support - WhatsApp is just one of many that will stop working.

If WhatsApp is important to you, you have 2 choices: use the Android version and live with its limitations for as long as it continues to work, or move to a supported platform (iOS or Android). That's it. There are no other options.

This just seems that obvious and yet it seems people keep asking the same question just hoping to hear the answer they want to hear, truth or not.
