Since today morning WhatsApp shows it is not supporting BB10 phones in India.
As many of my other friends confirmed it too.

It simply shows " You can't send messages to this chat because WhatsApp no longer supports this phone. "


Does anyone have any idea of it, since in the forum it was mentioned that they would support blackberry till June.

It's more like privacy, terms & conditions issue in a specific location (India, Asia) maybe.

I think that Facebook is messing up with their level security encryption layers and api's which also are related (and infected) to WhatsApp and Instagram.

Facebook is now responsible for the both two apps.

ISSUE RESOLVED

Went to BB world searched for WhatsApp, there was a new update available.
Downloaded it and Viola WhatsApp working again.

Hi all there is a quick article on Crackberry this morning that states how to fix the issue. If you did not update in December then you need to do so now and whatsapp will be rocking for you once again. You may need to uninstall the old version before installing the new one. Rocking 24-7 with my Passport SE & Semi Retired Z10

You can try Android version to check.
Seems you haven't updated WhatsApp recently.

Just uninstall the previous one and install it again (latest one) from the blackberry world. It will start working again at least till June 30th,2017.

Yes, I have BBQ10 and it has stopped working too.

Since Blackberry has stopped producing devices under BB10 OS, whatsapp has stopped upgrading it.

Still you can download Whatsapp through thisd party app, like 1 Mobile for Blackberry, Its working well.
