I have installed whatsapp on my BlackBerry Q10, but I need to restrict it's usage of data at times.
Is there anyway, I can kill this app and it's data usage?
Every time I need to uninstall and Install whatsapp. I want to know if there is any way to blocks it's data access

    Hey there!
Not sure if you want to limit the amount of data or access to you personal data?

If you want to Limit the access try that:
Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Application Permissions -> WhatsApp.

There you are able to Limit down the app

Hi, I saw this too. Does anyone know what minimum permissions WhatsApp needs to have to run please?

    From my Z30 STA100-2 on OS 10.3.2.2639

I tried this, but it starts automatically when a message arrives

I wish there was a way to toggle an app's internet access on and off. I'm guessing that's what the OP is asking for.

    Not sure?
But if you set all your preferred accesses and barely use it - it won't take noticeable data?

I am not trying to save data. I just want to stay away from the whatsapp when needed
