Loving it. Not running social apps or Android apps. Basic functions and messaging are fine on my Z30. Everything I desire in a BlackBerry device is on board.

Still not polished. Still missing features. Didn't deliver on items that were to be in this release.

Well I don't like the following things;

I used to have my brightness all the way down and it was ok to work like that 98% of the time. Now I need it almost half way up. For all I know perhaps this isn't using any more battery...

I liked the orange colours in the Clock app. They're gone.

There seems to be a lot more 'white' in everything now. Maybe I will get used to it.

The calculator seems to have gotten a little darker.

My 'Open Apps' all have white banners which seems to make everything bleed together a bit.

Unless I choose the dark view, which I don't want to, I cannot read the name of the person I am chatting to in BBM because their name is white on white.

The address bar in the Browser has gone to white text on a black background.

Apps don't minimise as soothly as they used to...


I do like the improvements in the camera, and I'm looking forward to using Blackberry Blend if and when I finally get it to connect... I also like the new ability in the Hub to quickly delete or file emails etc. And I like the improved magnifier to edit text; it feels more accurate. Honestly, I think it's a slightly poor release, given how good BB10 has been.

The OTA update from 10.2.1 didn't work well for me so I decided to make it well by security wipe. Everything is fine now

Contact issues I was having seemed to be fixed and small improvements throughout makes the OS seem to run smoother.

This week at work will be the test. Lots of calls, messaging, appointments and emails to handle.

Overall, fairly happy with most things. Apps and games seem to take a long time to load and games run a bit laggy.

Lack of wifi signal is probably my biggest gripe .

At the moment though, the good bits out way the bad and I'm sure the problems will be addressed.

It's really no different from the good old BBOS days. It all happens given time.
