I've always used the BB10 version of Facebook on my Classic and Passport, but as we all know it's not the best app.

I read on here that the Android Facebook app works on BB10, so I downloaded it from Snap, and tried to install it. It installed and ran, but wouldn't let me log in. So, I tried some of the older APK's for Android 4.0.3, but they wouldn't run at all.

I know people have got the Android Facebook app to work. Can you let me know the version number that's working for you?

I know I can use the mobile Facebook site, and I do, but I was curious about the Android app.

No it doesn't. Use Skype.

Use the mobile site and add to home screen.

That way it is always up to date and any further complaints should be directed at the 300 Billion dollar company that does nothing rather than the 5 Billion dollar company trying to manage multiple and diverse business units.

So I used Google Play Store (using Cobalt's methods) to get Facebook but it won't let me log on. I enter my email and password and I get the little spinning circle for a minute, then it goes back to the log on page with my email and password already entered.

Is anyone else having issues?
Do I need a patched version?

The current version of Facebook for Android will not work on BlackBerry 10. You need to download and install version 29.0.0.23.13 for Facebook, and Messenger version 25.0.0.17.14.
