Well, people who said that Blackberries have poor battery life should check out the Q10 and the future Z30...They both promise outstanding battery life.

Ehm, no it doesn't... It's comparable, sure, you get about a days battery life out of each of them (Though the Samsung might do a little worse).

But even IF it did, that wouldn't be enough. Most people are close to chargers all the time. And for those that aren't, there are Mophie Juice cases, basically a case for your iPhone with a battery in it.

I don't know about SGS owners, but every time Ive heard people complain about iPhone battery life, it's always been in the context of: Jeez, I should look into getting a batterycase or a portable charger, never in the context of "Jeez, I gotta get a new phone!"

I had both of those devices. Iphine5 has the worst battery. At the end of the work day iphone 5had around 20%, sgs4 around 40 and my z10 has 50-55 with much hevier use then both of my last phones

I am now on day 10. Samsung remote, Tmobile technical department, no one can fix the email client on my new Samsung Galaxy S5. While it will connect with my work email, it will not hold more than one email at a time and that disappears as soon as a new one arrives. My Blackberry gave me absolutely no trouble with business email. Sad. It is a simple pop3 account. My two iPads can handle it but not this phone.

Security is why I switched. I decided that I was no longer going to be Apple or Google's product.

I switched cause I needed something fresh. I had a droid commando and it was just blah, didn't really impress in any way. I tried an iphone and s4 at the store along with a couple of razor and other droids. Got to the q10 and LOVED IT! It was something different since I never had a BlackBerry before, and it "felt" different when doing some of the tutorials.

Once I actually got the phone and used it for about a week it really was worth the switch. I do miss some of the apps I had on my droid, but that is easily surpassed by the battery life, os function, security, and keyboard on the q10.

BlackBerry 10 is a great os, with a couple of small tweaks and getting some more brand name apps, blackberry could be poised to finally grab back some market share they lost.
