Sorry but top apps...like every single popular app that iOS has, I want on BB10 to keep it on par with other OS'...the main thing though should be...what NATIVE apps do you want included...Third-Party apps are amazing and make the ecosystem...but since we don't have anything to compare to, we can look at the PlayBook and BB10 I am really hoping has most of the native bbos apps...like BB traffic, password keeper, obviously tasks and memo/notes...BB protect, Maps...all of these need to be there at launch and be functioning properly and integrated perfectly...like BB Traffic integrated with the maps app and is a sense all one app actually would be interesting to see...really interesting to see what they do natively on this OS!

Sorry But u guys must be misunderstanding me, I get the need of apps but I was talking about your FAV features on OS7 that u want on BB10, Skype and Netflix are not on your OS7. I gave u my BlackBerry custom font example and OS5 ringtones. I do not want BB10 to b 2 simple I do not Like basic. I like to customize my phone internally.

- Messages always open, like on the current BB phones, not like the playbook.
- No skype app, but videochat integrated into the OS, and connected to the skype protocol.
- 1 place for all my messages. Email, text messages, BBM & Whatsapp in 1 menu. - 05-07-2012, 10:56 AM #8
BB10 needs to have the top 10 IOS and Android apps available natively when it launches. I know people will QQ about it's not all about copying IOS/Android but honestly it is.
I was telling my wife about BB10 and she said "is it going to have skype, netflix, words with friends and all those other with friends games", I said I had no idea. Her response "uhhh ok so when it launches if I can use the apps I use NOW then I may switch, if not why would I?"
BB10 must give those on IOS/Android an option to switch. If my wife/kids can't use words with friends, skype etc then she will not switch. If every apple fan boi or Android fan can look at BB10 and see that 95% of the apps they use now are available. It is just that much more incentive to switch.
I honestly want to see an advertisement that says "now available on Appworld, Android market and App store" VERY rarely do you see an available on all three major platforms. - 05-10-2012, 03:00 AM #9

Managing attachments in emails, being able to sort pics, docs, etc. Love my pb's, but they suck at email. Would be nice to see the same type of menu system os7 has where you can highlight a photo and the menu pops up to send, move, rotate, etc, etc. I currently have 8854 photos on my 64gb, plus 1704 songs, and a few hundred docs. Try clicking the attach button in the email app and see how long it takes to open and then find the photo or doc you want to send. I'm excited to see bb10, but if it can't email at least as well as os4,5,6, or 7 it will be a real shame

WHAT I NEED:
-- Bedside mode with all the trimmings (and availability of a charging pod)
-- Best-ever notification system (functionality of BeBuzz integrated)
-- Best ever sound profiles (tied with notifications)
-- SPEED SPEED SPEED. Not talking horsepower, but shortcuts. Gestures on lockscreen a-la Cyanogenmod on Droid would be great! (e.g. Draw a smiley face on lock screen and flashlight comes on-- that kinda stuff)
-- Best EVER BBM, including GROUPS. It scares me when I don't see BBM groups on PB :-(
Bottom line-- MAKE IT A BLACKBERRY. I need to be able to look at my device when it's locked and dimmed and see if I need to check something (notification system), get to the area or app ASAP, and bang out a reply fast and then lock and put back in my pocket, preferably one-handed.
I test drive iPhones and droids occasionally and seem to spend the majority of my time installing apps to make the experience like my Blackberry :-) - 05-20-2012, 04:16 PM #13
Advance OS & LED - without it, the LED and call functions won't be as good!

I'd like RIM to make the built in apps more complete.
Clock - give me a world timer too.
Email - give me folders
Calender - put birthdays in as a type
Calculator - scientific and tip
These are just a few. I'd like RIM to just look at what they deliver to the consumer and give us stuff that pulls us to the phone rather than making us buy new apps to fill the holes.
One super critical functionality for me would be PRINTING directly from the phone.
Yes, I know that the iPhone has most of these things and no, I do not want another one of those in my pants, ever. - 05-20-2012, 04:26 PM #15
