Since about a week I have seen files like qt_temp.randomnumber in my downloads folder which can't be erased. Anyone know what this is?

Have you downloaded anything else around the same times & dates as these files?

You can try a device reset first. (NOT the same as a restart.)
Hold down both your Volume Up & Down keys for about 10-20 seconds. Keep pressing them, ignoring screenshot notification, BB splashscreen, black screen, red LED, and BB splashscreen again. I don't release the Volume keys until I see the blue startup icon.

Anything work better after that reboot?

Have u been installing lots of android apks?
Is this your device or sdcard downloads?

    Sounds like qterminal apk.

Some of apps can leave junk around, this can happen on android phones and BlackBerry.

If on sdcard easy to delete, if on device, find the culprit app and try and delete from with in app, like clear history? also look into settings in the app and try and set the temporary folder to be on sd card.

Thanks for the info. Android file manager did erase them but I can't disable the app notification. Everytime I delete it, it pops up again, even after I disabled it from the apps settings.

    Thanks again
