On the Q10 I'd like to see plugging the phone into an HDMI display output a full widescreen desktop display on the HDTV, rather than outputting the box mode we get now. If necessary I'd rather see letterbox black bars on the Q10 whilst in this mode.

I'd also like a brightness slider on the dropdown settings menu.

Also more consistency in where to find "settings" because in the browser it is (oddly) in the right hand popup menu and not at the top of the screen where it should be!

I'd also like to see toasts for system notifications. At the moment things like "Your wifi connection has limited connectivity" appear in the hub. I find that really weird because I don't spot them there. System notifications like that should pop up as a toast.

That was what i was thinking too. Individual app settings that will make some be able to close auto when minimized and others to go to active frames.

This is one of the reason why I have not moved to the OS10 yet. Please do not adapt the "bells and whistles" only of the Android and IOS that when it comes real functionality and productivity, up to OS7 can't be beat. Please please bring back the highly customisable Profiles. The equivalent to BB10 is Notifications which is very shallow.

-auto shoot mode
-ability to manually change exposure time and aperture
-panorama mode
Everything managed with an amazing cascade animation

More audio functionality:
-sound equalizer
-ability to search online for the complete title of a song, album artwork etc. When I copy a song I would like BB10 to automatically recognize it, name it and display it in the media library with the associated artwork.

3) Instant Actions API: allow the assigning of instant action keywords to third party apps.

I use a whole bunch of apps that abuse the universal search to sort of get this functionality - you type something in and then feed it to the app, and it treats it as if it was an "instant action".

Specifically: "Email Me", "To Do", "Checked! Task Pro", "High Notes", "Quick Email", "Quick Event", "Noted", "Shortcuts", and "Rapid Reminders". I'd love to know if there are others people like; I really wish you could search App World by which APIs apps use. :-)

However this is more steps, takes longer, and is obviously a hackish way of getting around BlackBerry's lack of providing APIs to *all* the sweet features of BlackBerry 10 OS.

BlackBerry: Let developers make apps that seem integrated into / part of the OS, so it's all one smooth experience!

A home screen that isn't rows of applications. Gives us widgets, it doesn't have to be android, but give us a better home screen. The Apple row look is old imho.

Also, it would be nice if the main phone,search, and camera bar was retractable. Maybe a diagonal swipe from the bottom to bring it up.
