Would someone mind telling me exactly what a debug token is and what it does?

Hoping it will help with the Square app I converted to .bar and side loaded.

I installed the leaked 10.2 today and all is great (so far). I reloaded my Square app (so I can accept credit cards on my phone) but the numbers are squished so they can't be read.

    Here's a screen shot:

Or maybe not... won't attach it. hmmm a bug in 10.2?

Anyway, hoping a debug token thing is what I need.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!!

Take a look at my post here >> http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...0/#post8955738

As for the other question... There is no way to be certain, but it won't hurt trying.

Debug token won't help that. Looks like it doesn't like Q10 resolution.

Ok I read your post and it does explain what a token is. What I don't get is what I need to do to get one then what to I do with it once I get it.

So I watched the tutorial here: http://forums.crackberry.com/android...erry10-817781/ and followed his instructions but it didn't work.

For one thing the config file in the android-pack I downloaded doesn't ask for the device PIN, but in his video he says it does. So I added it to the config file and entered my device pin.

Secondly he never mentions adding pins to the pinlist file that is in the android-pack, but the config file says to add pins to it. I added my device pin and the passpin I had used when I registered it.

I dragged and dropped as instructed but it gave me an error. But then I got two emails saying registration was successful.

Also the i.p. address in development mode is different than the i.p. address associated with my phone which is different than the i.p. address associated with my wifi.

My phone says no debug tokens installed.

And apparently you only get one shot at is because when I tried it again it said I had already done it.

I haven't a clue as to what to do.

    Help?

I have square working fine. I had to download new version cause the old one I was using didn't work. Don't have the app right now, but it was the register app.

Sorry...mine on the z10. I guess that might be why it's squished. Good luck.
