I've been getting this message pop up in a few occasions today. Either when replying to tweets, reading emails or browsing.

Any idea what it could be?

    Thanks in advance

I've been getting these also. Also noticing the Internet being slow on my device such as getting to a website and viewing the crackberry.com app.

A slow climb to the top is always more rewarding. Sent using my BlackBerry Z10.

Your root certs might be out of date or your ssl state is bad. Hopefully it will clear itself. I'm assuming that you tried a reboot.?

Year? The error message is generally related to the time/date/year. Restarting your phone may also help

I was able to do banking but had the set the teaser in the future as it wouldn't allow right away. I thought it was just waiting for the cheque I deposited to clear though.

I'm able to sign in securely to my banking apps and PayPal.

I did a hard reboot and again the pop up came up during a BBM conversation.

Again here are the details :

My device date, year and time are all correct. If u press cancel when the message pops up I'm able to proceed normally.

Been able to at least narrow it down to a contact server sync issue with one or all of my 3 yahoo (rogers) email accounts. Here are the server addresses:

    Calendars:
    caldav.calendar.yahoo.com

    Contacts
    carddav.address.yahoo.com

    Email
    rim.imap.mail.yahoo.com

It appears that the error has to do with the CONTACTS server:
carddav.address.yahoo.com, as the screenshot implies. Might have to do with Rogers/Yahoo new Calendar/Contacts interface unless other users are getting this with non yahoo.com/ca or Rogers.com/ca email domains.

I had this yesterday also. I just clicked on continue and haven't seen it again. I was on the CB10 app at the time, I believe I was just getting ready to hit the post button.

Just delete your carddav account in hub if you didn't use it. The reason is obvious. Your phone unable to authenticate the certificate sent by yahoo. No need to adjust your time and date as it is not expired certificate error but an certificate authentication error. You should contact yahoo as they are the one that provide the certificate.

But the cardav allows synchronization with my yahoo email contacts. If I delete it won't I lose access to the many contacts in my yahoo email account that aren't in my phone?

Those pop up are just to warn you that the certificate you received cannot be verified and you choose to continue at your own risk. You just have to bear with it until yahoo fix it.

To get rid of it: just press continue, however the root cause will not be resolved. The reason for the error are outdated certificates
