Weird Facbook/ birthday issue

When linking contacts, on my phone, the birthday data is coming from Facebook but it is taking off one day. So for instance, my girlfriends birthday is April 10th but in my contact data pulled from FB it is listed as the 9th. It is the same for other people's birthdays too. Anyone else noticed this?

Yeah - I noticed this too. Bit of an annoyance but I guess it means I won't be late on birthdays!

Reported many times. Known issue. To add to this, I have Birthdays listed twice by Facebook and the second one which is incorrect can't be deleted by editing. Also applies to email addresses added by Facebook. They can't be removed.

I thought it was just me! My friends birthday was today and I wished him a happy one yesterday. He's like yeah thanks, but.... i kinda felt like an ***** lol.

Same problem here, seems to me like a timezone calc issue.
Hope it is fixed in 10.1

Did you check the settings in Account/Facebook, I believe the default is to remind you a day ahead of time? Change to same day at 9 am.

The issue is with Facebook or BB10 it depends on how you look at it.
If you try and edit the Facebook birthday you will notice that it is imported as the mm/dd/yy
Since most people don't add the year to their birthday on Facebook I assume they substitute /00 for kicks. BlackBerry 10 is interpreting this as 1900 not 2000. I think this is somehow where the issue lies.
For me the date shows up one day early in the contact app but the reminder and calendar display and act correctly.
So for example My friends contact, her birthday is July 11/1993 which is what I have programmed into the contact. Facebook imports 7/11/00 yet displays July 10.
If I go to the calendar app her birthday is shown on July 11. If I remove all other calendars except Facebook just to be sure the Facebook entry still shows up on July 11 where it should.
BlackBerry 10 has issues with how they treat two digit dates in the contact app if the calendar app manages to get it right.

I would also check the settings in the calendar app, that can also be set to notify you a day early.
Open the contacts app, swipe down from the top and check those settings too
