In my z30 there is a native weather app inside which if I hit the lower right corner of the screen I see a bunch of options among which there is one option known as weather alert which is in fact disabled,that is you can't use that option.why is it so.....this native app shows accuweather.com at the top left. I wish I could get weather info at the top bar or in the hub,i don't want to search and open weather app again and again everyday

Which app are you referring to? One that you downloaded from BB World? If so, some apps note that not all features are available in all areas. I recall seeing a similar note in a weather app I had downloaded -- the alerts were not available in my area.

The app name is simply weather.its a native app and when I open that app I see accuweather.com at the upper right corner of the screen

It's just a link to the website where the data comes from. Only available if a weather alert is declared by AccuWeather
