    this worked as a sideload on 10.2 but not from amazon on 10.3.1.

    Doesn't make sense

    I used to use WatchESPN on 10.3 without Google play. Don't know why that changed....

    Yup, it's been happening since the last few versions. You have to patch it using Cobalt's tools (or lucky patcher may work, but I haven't tried it).
