    I am thinking of getting the new Roku 3 and wondering if I will be able to watch videos on my Z10 on my TV via the Roku.

    I don't think so... The "Play On" feature is implemented via DLNA and that's not how the Roku gets content. You may have some luck with an app such PlayonTV, but that requires your PC to be running. I have a Roku XS and I haven't been able to get it to work... Luckily I don't even need it to because my Samsung TV and Bluray players both do support DLNA and work fine with the Z10.
