    Every time I receive an email with photos sent buy a friend that has an iPhone, when I click on the attachments in the email, I get a message saying "no viewer available for unnamed". Seems to me that the BB10 OS should know these are pictures and open them without problem. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks.

    was trying to show off my z10's screen quality to an iPhone user, and was truly let down when I wasn't able to open a simple jpeg file

    Hmmm this is weird. I have an iPhone and a Z10 and I'm pretty sure I opened a picture through email that I sent myself. I'll try again.

    just tried it on my sisters iphone, pics dont work through email.it says the same thing.
    works for MMS though

    I've received pictures from my iPhone friends via MMS and could open it up with no issues. I cannot comment on emails though

    I have just tested from a iPhone (exchange & Gmail) to my Z10 (outlook.com & IMAP) and both receiving accounts are able to view the picture I sent.

    There was another thread around here recently about this.

    Apple email applications have a crappy habit of treating attached images as "embedded content", rather than a traditional attachment. Other email applications have had trouble with emails generated from Apple programs like this too, ie Eudora.

    Here's a discussion from 2011 on Apple's own forum with several users complaining about how non-Apple-users can't do anything with the attachments they are sending from Apple products:

    That is strange. On the flip side I sent a picture to two friends. One was using an iphone, and the other android. The iphone couldn't open it but the android could. My picture was sent via text msg.

    I know this is off topic but I thought it was strange.

    All photos I send from iPhone email to Z10 email I can't open the photos on the Z10
