    Def. but unlike apple they should make it naitively compatible with skype in addition to just chatting with other bb users.

    If you look at "trails" aka the Cascades Contact app they've demoed. Within the contact app was a Skype logo aside some other much needed social outlets. Hopefully we'll see some good fruit from BB come BB10

    It would probably work now if you could get ahold of the OS2 video chat bar file that isn't included in what DM downloads.

    Serious question:

    Can you guys not do any video chat on your 9900s? Video chat these days is a bit like free SMS/MMS cross-platform apps - plentiful. For example, my wife has an iPhone, while I have a GSII. We both have G+ installed, which lets us video chat. Basically, if you have a front facing camera, the capability to video chat is there (you simply need the software, be it an app or something native).

    RIM should take BBM cross-platform to iOS, Android and Windows Phone, allowing chat (texting), file sharing, and video chat.
