Has anyone noticed that the Z10 mounts its storage over usb as a Network Drive?

Folders/files seem to have unix security that can't be changed, and copying is slow - 1 to 2 meg per sec compared to around 4 meg per sec I got with the 9800 if I use the same sd card, and the same cable in the same port.

I also get a lot of 'file can't be opened for writing' errors if I try and update file names or properties on files such as mp3 tags.

im not exactly sure where the option is, if its either in link, or on the phone, but you can turn off wireless sync. that usually seems to take priority, and i get 2MB/s transfer with that. when i turn that off, i can transfer at 4 to 5MB/s. the mounting as a network drive is normal for playbook users, so i got used to it.

i learned my lessons with id3 tags. i never edit them unless the mp3s are on my computer. (mobile dj, uses usbs). i never edit mp3 tags from mp3s that are on any type of portable device.

I found USB storage is MUCH faster if you set it as a mass usb device.

If you use the "playbook style" it is much, much slower

Access over wifi to a file share on my phone is awesome.

I have a nightly job that syncs everything from my phone to my "Home Server" for backups.

Yeah, it was my stupidity - I thought i'd turned usb mode on, I hadn't.... Now getting a consistent 4.5 MB/sec to it
