    Hey all,

Does anyone have any information or knowledge whether BB10 will support USB hosting? It's a feature I think shouldn't be too hard to implement, yet provide a lot of practical usability. Especially for the PlayBook which some use as a laptop replacement. I would love to be able to take my DSLR memory card and load the photos directly onto my PlayBook for better viewing.

    Thanks for any info!

A much needed feature on PlayBook currently - so I am hoping this comes to us on BB10 for all BB10 devices (tablet or phones).

This is one of the primary reasons I leave the PlayBook @ home on trips. I want to be able to take my SD card & backup those photos somewhere, in case my camera is stolen or misplaced.

I believe there were some signs in the PlayBook OS that there were some hooks built in, but not yet fully available - showing promise that this could be available in the future.

some users who imported the bb10 from the dev alphas to the playbook are reporting that it now automatically recognizes usb drives, keyboards, and mice. that's the best we got and a good sign!
