I have about 100 z10s that are not activated , I am prepping them for issue and activation. I am using sachesi to upgrade from 10.1 to 10.2.2179 which is the correct version my carrier is deploying now. Many update with no problem, some will display 10.1 but a reboot solves it. Others I have had to do a factory reset once the update was done but that takes too long. I did ask this question in the sachesi thread but it doesn't seem to be too active

So it's a minor glitch fixed by a reboot or factory reset, what exactly is the question you have to be answered?

the question is I would like to avoid doing the factory reset because that takes too long, was hoping someone had a tip. if not I'll just factory reset them.

Well if you've done a few and know it's just a visual glitch why not just keep note of that? Unless having the device show the proper OS is a big deal

I don't know exactly what your situation is but my question is why don't you activate them first, then update the OS OTA? Perhaps that would solve your update issues.
