    I had this problem last month. And it happened again. I received an update notification when my battery was below 20%. Charged my phone then open the notification to update but it was gone. My phone says I have the latest software.

    Heres the ss of the notification I received:

    Try taking out your SIM card (if you have one) and reboot without the SIM. Then go to Software Updates again so see if it starts showing up.
