    I have not been able to open any android apps in a few months, including amazon apps, apks I downloaded and any ported app in BlackBerry World. Do I need to reinstall the android runtime to correct this issue? If so can someone point me to a dl link, thanks

    Have you tried a hard restart? (This is like a "deeper" reboot, not a factory reset.)

    Hold down your top key and do not release it. Ignore any onscreen prompts, countdowns, splashscreens, etc.
    After the red LED flashes on then back off again, release the top button.

    Anything better after that reboot?
    If not, you may in fact have deep problems with your OS necessitating a wipe and OS re-install.
