I downloaded Blend from the BlackBerry site yesterday, today I tried to install it on my laptop and kept getting this screen.
    Unable to install Blend...-img_20141218_140554.jpg

Anyone else experience this? I have plenty of space on my drive.

You have a hung install process. Reboot.

Yup... best thing is a reboot... don't start the install until windows finishes loading

Restarted. Still having the same issue. I wonder if I should try to uninstall my old Link before I try it again.

Uninstall Link and any other BlackBerry software. Reboot and start again. Also make sure any AV program is not blocking the install.

I had the same problem. I used task manager and closed everything blackberry. Then tried to run the installation and it worked. I had rebooted but that didn't work. I was installing on Surface Pro 1.

Let me give it another try. I still have the device updater on there somewhere.

Looks like it's finally installing. Seems as if Microsoft was trying to install something that I didn't let finish. Thanks for the help.

Did you find the solution? I am also having the same problem. Some People recommend to turn off firewall but i did not succeed.

    I've had the same problem.
My solution was the deactivation of my virus program.
After I stop my virus scanner, blend was installing without any problem.
