For the last couple of weeks I've monitored my battery and cpu closely and was surprised when Twitter began outpacing the "System" process in % battery utilized.

I deleted it, then rebooted and reinstalled it. It's relative utilization has dropped significantly over the last 2 days, staying less than 1%.

I keep twitter open as an Active Frame all day.

So it drains your battery if you leave it as an active frame all day?

Yes, to a degree. For some reason its spiked for several days, even after closing and reopening it, and rebooting the phone.

Delete and reinstall has resolved it now for a couple of days solid. I just thought I'd share something that worked for me.
