Is there a option to turn off the annoying and very loud sound when dialing a number in phone app? Of course except going to silent profile..

Even after reducing volume to ZERO the dialling noise is still there especially when you are using the keyboard to calling a number

Swipe down from the top with 2 fingers, put the phone on silent, then dial.

Which means that the user has to switch back to normal profile if he wants to hear calls!! Not really productive I say

What is most annoying is that with .1767 notifications volume is substantially improved, but also is phone dialing sound. It's really loud and I don't understand why isn't there option to turn that off :/

If you talk louder on the phone than the sound from the keyboard, then you shouldn't be complaining.

Actually you can silence dial pad sound. Follow these steps:
    Go into settings -
    Notifications -
Press Add at the bottom of the screen (name your new profile whatever you want)

    Attachment 343391

Then activate and choose your new profile then turn off Sound

Then press Customise App Notifications -
Go into each app and turn on sound -
Turn on Override Profile Volume and choose how loud you want it to be.

After that you're done. No more dialling sound, no more Keyboard feedback sound..

Yeah, thanks for the advice. I'll do that or I'll block any unwanted dialing sounds with finger over loudspeaker

Why didn't they just put a volume slider for dial pad? It really is crazy loud.

Or... just type the phone number into the assistant.

Quiet as a mouse and no playing with settings.

For keyboard equipt phones, just start typing the phone number from the home screen.

For passport users type "call 1235551234"
Don't think you can type numbers on the passport without a focused text element.
