Is it possible to turn off read/unread sync from BB10 to gmail?

I don't want emails I read on my BlackBerry 10 device should show up as read on gmail.

    For the records:

Goto your gmail account settings, under the forwarding and pop/imap tab make sure that POP is enabled, and on option 2 select "keep gmail's copy in the inbox".

On your blackberry10 goto accounts, new account, advanced, POP.

Then put in your information. The server address is pop.gmail.com port 995
The outgoing smtp server address is smtp.gmail.com port 465
The ports are pre filled already leave the other settings as is. The only stuff you need to put in is your username and password.

You might get an email that some1 is trying to get into your account just follow the link that it was you trying.
