    Hey guys,

I've been a loyal blackberry user for a long time. Curve, 9000, Bold 9700, Bold 9930, Z10 and Q10. Palm Treo before that. While i've been using the Q10 admirably and the Z10 for work, I've finally decided to make the upgrade to a strong hardware phone with a bigger screen. Believe me, I maxed out the usage of my Q10. I sideloaded a ton of apps, I've used iGrann a lot, and love the HUB and the Share button on all of the apps, as well as the instant search.

However, I've replaced the freakin keyboard 3 times and each time it starts double typing a month later. It lags, A LOT. The internal storage is full, even with all of the apps I've deleted. The RAM sucks and the battery drains too fast. I will miss the keyboard, but I'll try and manage.

Blackberry wanted $700 + tax for a passport and $500+ tax for the classic and the Oneplus One cost me just over $350.

    Having said all of that:

    - What is the most effective for transfering data, contacts, media and photos from Blackberry 10 to android?
    - Is there a way of integrating the contact data?
    - Can I back up the emails and messaging as well?
    - What about BBM? My blackberry account remains active right if I change phones?

Why haven't looked into the Z30? If you had already, why do you not find it a good fit for you?

    Figured it out.

There's an app called InContact which can transfer contacts cross platform. There is also the Microsoft OneDrive and Box.com apps that can hold all of my photos and video. For music I can just transfer it via device to PC to device.

Why this choice ? Why not using Device Switch ?

I would suggest you to use ContactsImEx, it is able to extract your contacts to a file within your phone and then you can move that file to your computer, it worked for me greatly.

    Regards.
