Have been noticing a huge number of bb10s in the wild over the course of the last few weeks. The Q10 in particular appears to be extremely popular. I've also seen quite a few Q5's popping up. That pole that was posted a few weeks ago seems to be pretty accurate. I'm still also seeing a lot of Bolds around. Let's hope the Passport and Classic can make converts out of the Legacy power users.

    Any other Torontonians noticing this?

Yup. I see a lot downtown too and from home. Mind you I see a lot of people with q10s and see them using second devices (iPhones or androids) most likely these are corporate q10s. I've seen a few z30s as well. More than I thought I'd see.

Toronto is probably the only place in North America. Where you will not only see someone with the same BB10 device as you. But also the same accessories too. For me it's been the BlackBerry red transform case and BlackBerry white flip shell case.

They're around. I see at least on BlackBerry 10 device everyday I'm in the city, and that's not counting people I see on a regular basis.

Was at a Chapters in Etobicoke, across the street from Sherway Gardens, waiting for my car to be serviced and I started counting BlackBerry 10 devices and I lost count. Not sure why, but it made me happy to see that I'm not the only one rocking a BlackBerry 10 device. The most popular one was the Z10, followed by Q10, and few Q5s thrown in there. I was hoping to see a Z30, but unfortunately I was the only one with that.

Kingston, Ontario also has a lot of BlackBerry 10 devices. I've been surprised by how many. I saw my first Q5 in the wild the other day, but I know a lot of people with Z10s and some Q10s. No Z30s spotted yet, though.

I do see a lot of Z10s in Toronto and that's probably because I have one and I'm looking for it. But for the most part I see Bolds in this city.
The Z30 is a bit of a unicorn. Lots of other phones look like it and it looks like lots of other phones but I have never actually seen the Z30 "chin" in anyone's hand.

I know of about a dozen people in my extended circle that have BB10. My girlfriends office is 90% bb10 though.

My curiosity, when you noticed the growth of BlackBerry 10's (on the wild)?

On this side of the Atlantic, I have seen only one Z10 (at my office) , and my wife's Z10 and my Z10.

Let's not get too carried away here. I live in the Toronto area and I have met only 1 other person with a Z30. I see very few other BlackBerry 10 devices. However, I see lots of Bolds. I have 1 of them too. That is the device of choice for our company. I think we have to keep the notion of a 'Toronto stronghold' in perspective.

Again, this is obviously relative but just today I met with 2 people using bb10 devices. A Q10 and a Z30. I'm not suggesting that it is a dominant platform, but it appears to be substantially more popular here then in other cities. I saw a z10 last night as well as a Q5. Obviously I'm cherry picking but again compared to other users I feel like Toronto really seems a lot more open to the platform.

Toronto is more open because BlackBerry headquarters is 1hr 30min from Toronto. I'm sure there's a higher percentage of Windows 8 users in Seattle.

Nothing special about the increased sightings. Just fans for the home team.

There will always be pockets of BlackBerry devices but looking at an anthill there are loads of ants. Look outside that 6 square inches and they become a dot in the vastness of a much bigger picture. Sorry, that's the way it is.

How do they like them? I wonder about the company issued phones, as many likely have two phones, but if they like BlackBerry 10 then that is great.
