My old blackberries sometimes reboot randomly. 2 pearls, 8130 & 9100 and one bold. 9100 3G Pearl still is in great shape.

My Z30 never re booted since I've had it...

Operating Software on any platform, is never perfect; always work in progress. Hopefully BlackBerry is aware and doing its best to rectify the problem.

I'd be curious to know what type of Radiographs you are viewing...Industrial (Piping-Vessels), perhaps..?? and if so, how are you getting them on your PP..?

How good is the resolution..??

My Z10 has issues in the cold sometimes. I think the battery chemistry slows down and the electrical current is not what it needs to be.

Since I've been using BlackBerry 10 devices from the z10 to the z30 and now the Passport. Never ever ever had any of them randomly reboot on me. Even my old bbos devices never rebooted on me ever.

I get reboots sometimes when I get off the phone and they other side hangs up first.. z10 running dev software .997 blue light device.. and once from sliding up too fast after picking up phone (advanced ON)

I'll be the contrarian, but not simply for the sake of it. My old 8330, 8530, and 9810 never rebooted on me. Only time I've ever seen spontaneous reboots was with my Z10. Thank goodness it grew out of it somehow.

i had 3 9810's that did the same albeit not as much. lucky you, bud. well... not if you're experiencing it on the Z10... i never have. i'd rather be on this side of the coin ;-)

Sorry for late reply, travelling on sea. No radiographs as in Oral Pantograph We have digital X-ray, so can just Whatsapp /email the files to view. Resolution is good? I can discern if there's any fracture or some suspicious radio-opacity/lucency.

Here am I again, with the recurrent problem of my Passport restarting thrice for no apparent reason. Flipping to wake device, opening BlackBerry Maps, then checking device monitor. Seemed like this incident is occurring more often.

What OS are you on. I have only maybe seen my z30 reset itself a couple times since I've had it since launch. But it was also when taking out of my pocket so maybe I pressed the button.

Now, my friend has a passport that kept resetting too.. he never had any issues at first. it did happen a few times. But then he updated to 10.3.1 on wind in canada. A few days later when he was at work it reset, then a few minutes later it reset.. even in standby it would reset. (he also doesn't like to to a lot of apps on his phone but does have some android apps)

It got to a point it was resetting like every 5 minutes, So I did a format for him after we were able to get important files to his SD card. But even after formatting it still kept resetting. I had to go to work so I couldn't do a factory restore for him so he decided to bring it to the carrier.

They went it off and he ended up getting a new one cause the motherboard was fried..

I don't want to scare you that it might happen to your phone. But if you notice it happen a lot I would try going stock for a bit and see if it still happens until some more updates get pushed out

Also, when the BlackBerry is connected to link doing a format it's basically in safe mode so you don't have to worry about it resetting during a wipe

I am on the official latest OS? And yes I started having this problem ever since I've updated to this latest OS (software) 10.3.1.1565. By going stock what do you mean? Revert back to 10.3?

Well you have a few options if still having issues.. either try and backtrack to 10.3.0 with a factory restore, or learn how to install a leak, or do a clean reinstall.

My friends new passport he got, well it was set to autoupdate so he too is back on his carrier official 10.3.1.1572, but he says he isn't having any issues this time even tho its the same OS he had when it kept resetting on his other one.

So maybe you could have just had a fluke situation happen and need to do a reinstall

The irony is, after the latest OS update OTA on my work Q10, the rate of it auto rebooting reduced greatly, contrary to my Passport. :/

Had this on my old Passport everyday. Some days worse than others. Reported daily logs and recreated scenarios and we couldn't discover a cause. Now got a new Passport and just for precaution I am not restoring data via Link just in case it brings the problem back.

My PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2576 rebooted 4 times this morning. I was thinking I held the power button or something that switched it off, but then it happened again, again and again. Now it's been stable since a few hours. Software update was installed a few days ago, never had this issue on my Passport since October!

Just a thought, but have you installed any new Apps before this all started happening ? I remember this happening when OS10 was first launched (2yrs) now. In my experience usually a recent App install may be the culprit...Worth considering!!

I'm running the latest .2582 on my SQW100-3 Passport. It's definitely been the best version to date!! How long have you had yours ?? How long has the resetting been going on?? Process of elimination is best way to troubleshoot!!

I have many reboots with my z10.
Now they are not so regulary with the newest os but they never where completely fixed.
Not everyone have this issue but I think there are enough to say : there is an issue. My Passport isn't rebooting but maybe it's just a few hours away from reboot the awakening.
