After doing a device switch from my old phone to my new one, old contacts that were previously synced from active-sync to my old phone using a 3rd party app were transferred to my Z10 as local contacts. Now that I have my phone setup with active-sync to our system again everything is doubled.

I was to do a selective deletion of all my contacts, like yo used to be able to do with desktop manager. I can not find a way to do this.

Any tips would be appreciated.

This is assuming you are on OS 10.1

Go to setting and go to account choose 3 dots clear local contacts

Wow, thanks guys, that was embarrassingly easier than I figured it would be. I obviously have not searched through the menu since updating to 10.1.

Yep. You can also long press a contact and then choose select more, and then of course select various ones. Then trash can to delete all you've selected. Helpful for just removing certain ones quickly.

Do you have a local backup of them? If not then Houston, you have a problem.
