I use "Search" for a faster way to having Setting shortcut. Yes, would need initially search to keep it on Search tray since.
Fair enough with 2 taps way, since I've made apps tray / folder on the Homescreen anyway.

My wonder is: Is there a way or a app that can turn off the mornitor or lock the phone without using the power button?
Swipe to open is great, but how about swipe to turn off...

Yeah, something like that would be cool. Not really necessary on the Q's since they are quite small, but good for Z10 and 30 where the power button isn't always within reach.

Thanks for the heads up on Docu Shortcut. Works amazing and it's exactly what I've been looking for. The shortcut goes on my main page click and I'm done. Fast and easy.

I use the search button at the bottom of the screen. Search for mobile network once and it will stay in the loop of your searches. If you really use it that often, the shortcut will always be there because you can have 20 shortcuts there.

This option requires three taps: Search - Mobile Network - Data off

There is also a Built-for-BlackBerry app called "Shortcut Creator", which is what I usr. It also has built-in Setting shortcuts that work really well. You may want to try it out. It is very dependable.
