Default Is there ANY WAY to seperate mailboxes?

I can't be the only person who has their work and personal email accounts on their BB, has huge volumes of work emails per day and much fewer personal emails, values seperate inboxes to keep different parts of life apart, and would have their personal emails burried under masses of work emails in a combined hub.

Is there any way to view seperate mailboxes in BB10? If not in the hub, then on the main icon screen?

    Yes.

    2 ways.

1 while in the Hub swipe right then select only the ,mailbox you want to see.

2 while in the Hub hit Menu, Settings, Hub Management and then remove the account that you don't want showing in the main Hub list. That way your other messages wont get buried under work (or whatever) stuff.

Excellent, thanks, that's great. Can you see individual mailboxes as seperate icons on the icon screen too? So can you look at individual mailboxes without going via the hub?

No the Hub is the only way to see mailboxes. It takes a tiny bit of getting used to but its really much faster and better.

Thanks agin, all v good to know. So presumably you can't tell which mailbox has a new message until you go into the hub, and even then you can only really know for sure when you're in the message?

The other option is convincing your company to setup a BES10 server so you can have the seperate work and personal profiles.

Correct that you won't know until you go into the Hub. You don't have to open the message to see what account it came in on though. While looking at your message list simply do a quarter swipe to the right to peek at the hub message box listing and you can then see what account shows an alert.

But then you have to completely switch balance profiles to even see your other messages right? That would be a lot more work.

If you are in your work profile and a a personal email comes in (or vice versa) do you even get notified of it or do you have to keep switching profiles back and forth to check?

When you are in the personal profile your work email is still accessible, but it will lock after a certain amount of time and you need to unlock it again to access either it or other work data such as memos or your calendar, this can be independent of a device password as for example I do not currently have a password on my device just on the work profile.

Pretty generalized statement. It doesn't sound better in this gentleman's case...and not particularly faster either. The hub looks to be turning in to a collosal cluster. I could see having the hub AND actual icons for individual mailboxes to give the user choices, but to force people to use the hub is a bit narrow minded on BB's part.

    Hello,

I'm in the same boat, I have my work and personal email....the thing I notice that is weird is that it sent all emails from the same default email account, so if you have it set to your work email on default....and you check a personal email and reply it sends the reply via your work email? Does anyone know if this is an error on my part. And changing the default is not a fast way of doing this. Thanks for any suggestions!!

you have to use it for a week and then make a judgment.
I found it cumbersome at first, but quickly came to realize its power and potential. Now I won't go back.
    It really does flow.

Although I suppose it's possible that some people might still prefer icons, D Mac really is right in saying that it's fast (though I suppose I can't confirm faster, seeing as there are no icons there to compare, but my guess is that those would take longer just because they'd mix in visually with the rest of the app icons). I have three different mailboxes in my Hub, I can switch between then almost instantly in the Hub. Swipe, tap, done. I don't see much reason to prefer the icons.
