My wife told me about being able to do this on her Z30.
I tried it last night and found it very useful on my Passport.

Basically start recording video of something and whilst it is running hit the photo button or spacebar.

I've done this on my Z10 and must admit they come out better than I expected. My daughter is a performer in Nashville and this feature made it possible for me to continue to take pictures even when recording some of my favorite songs.
