Wait, why do they call it Q20 if it's BlackBerry Classic? Is it not a successor to the Q10?
I think it's called the classic as it offers back features of the old... and while we on that topic, I mentioned to a developer about the activity indicator and they said they will look into it as that's been a feature being requested by a few.

IMHO, the phone is not for me. I like a full keypad, so I'd go for the Q10 or Q20. Another reason why the phone is not for me is the size... as said, it's a 4" I think and it's a bit on the wide side. Despite this, it was rather thin and the whole design went well together.. but, it's not my personal style. In person it looked nice, the display was very crisp and the fonts well detailed... oh, and I can confirm that OS10.3 has brought back the lovely blue and not the red as seen in the beta.

Yes, it was the final design as it was in use my the designer, i'll mention his name soon when I get the programme for the event.

All in all its a great device just not for me.

Thanks for answering, that is another issue, it's the size that worries me... I have always been a fan of the keyboard till I got the Z10, but now I feel BlackBerry is trying to complete me with giving me both (size and keyboard) , I'm worried it won't feet in my pocket lol!!!

I guess, in a few months I'll know when more details come out

As much as I like to hear all these details about 'Classic' and 'Windemere', I hate that there's absolutely no info about the Z30's successor. May it be Z50 or whatever. I just want a nice full-touch device with high-end specs and BlackBerry 10.3 OS onboard.

There was one mentioned, but it was not called the Z50 or that sort.. they showcased atleast 6 new devices, and I only recall the Q20, Winamore (sorry for spelling) and the... crap, the name slipped me. LOL

It will be officially released in September time and I'm sure more info will surface before then.

    You will not be disappointed.

So the Q30 really has a combined keyboard; any capital letters, numbers or even simple symbols need the touchscreen? The more I think about that the less ideal it sounds, for something called a physical keyboard device.
The one thing everyone is always worried about with keyboard devices is losing screen real estate. Forcing stuff partially to a digital keyboard really would lead to that happening.
The Q20 on the other hand sounds like it would be much less powerful. Hmm...

    BlackBerry 10 signed.

    Q30..??

The Winamore will have a partial keyboard that will be touch. This partial part is for non Alphabet characters. The size of the screen does not sacrifice real estate due to the already large screen on the device.

The Q20 promises to be more powerful than the Q10 as it's an update, which incorporates features from past BlackBerry devices.

They also showed the Z3 LTE, that's the 3rd device they showed. It will have a li'l more premium feel with a soft back, compared to the Z3 Jakarta.

But I've already said too much according to the NDA now.

I will provide more pic when I get indoors.

All the info that I'm providing I had asked if I could.. and they said it was ok. They where more serious on pictures.

I mentioned that I'm on CrackBerry a lot and wanted to place the info they told me... they smiled (cheekinly) when I mentioned Crackberry, and that I'd installed leaks. LOL

I was drooling at it, damn! I wonder what the screen size will be. Some BlackBerry guy told me that the DPI will be slightly lower than the Windermere, but that won't be an issue as the screen will be smaller. Toolbelt looked sweet!

Oh by the way, I went to the Apple Store near the conference center afterwards with my goodie bag in one hand and my Z30 in the other. Those faces were priceless!
